Happy Tuesday!! If you’ve kept up with my last four posts, then you’ve noticed that I may have gone a little overboard with my collection of suede moto jackets.
As I’ve already mentioned, if you’re looking for a good suede jacket, then the BLANKNYC Morning Suede is the one to purchase. Since I prefer neutral colors and I like to invest in more timeless pieces, I chose this jacket in Coffee Bean that I’m wearing in today’s post and in Sand Stoner previously seen here. This suede jacket is extremely soft and comes in a variety of colors so you really can’t go wrong with whichever one you choose.
For my casual look, I paired a couple of my favorite suede pieces in slightly different hues of brown for a monochromatic and overall tonal look while keeping it simple and clean with my white lace top and jeans. Mixing different tones or shades of one color with different textures such as suede paired with lace is a great way to add depth and dimension to your outfit.
Happy Monday! I hope you enjoyed your weekend and your week is off to a great start!
If you’ve been following me on Instagram then you’ve probably noticed that I’m a big fan of moto jackets. In fact, coats and jackets are my go-to statement pieces year round simply because they can make any ordinary outfit stand out.
In my previous post, I mentioned that navy is one of my favorite colors that can go with almost anything so when I came across this navy suede moto jacket for $99 at TJ Maxx about a month ago, I just had to add it to my wardrobe and make it one of my go-to spring essentials that will undoubtedly transition into a fall essential later this year.
If you’re looking for a good quality suede moto jacket that comes in a variety of different colors, including navy, BLANKNYC Morning Suede is probably the most popular suede moto jacket among fashion bloggers and stylists. I have a handful of BLANKNYC vegan leather jackets that I always get compliments on in addition to two of the suede jackets, one in coffee bean (dark brown) and the other in sand stoner (taupe/beige) which are more practical options for the price.
Happy Wednesday, friends! I’m so ready for these gloomy and rainy days to pass and for warmer weather and consistent sunshine, but as they say, April showers bring May flowers!
In today’s post, I’m sharing a nautical business casual look. Navy is a neutral color that pairs well with everything and like black, is timeless and classic. Navy combined with ivory, beige or white can create a calming, soothing and relaxing mood and typically brings beaches, seasides, the Hamptons and sailing to mind; therefore, making this nautical inspired color palette particularly popular in spring and summer.
My navy denim button-up shirt from Target paired with white jeans or pants gives this casual outfit a more polished and professional look and is a great option if you work in an office with a business casual dress code.

It’s Friday and I’m walking through my hometown in a retro-70s inspired look with my bell flare jeans from Express and brown BLANKNYC vegan leather jacket.
I’ve mentioned before that I’m a fan of flare jeans and pants since they tend to make my legs look longer and accentuate my derrière and you can bet these high waisted dark wash jeans do just that.
For the longest time, I never combined black and brown because I believed it was a fashion faux pas, but as I got older, I’ve learned some of these silly fashion rules (e.g. not wearing white after labor day) are outdated and false. Brown and black pair well together since they both provide a polished and clean look and a little contrast to a monochromatic outfit can really make a difference.
