Hi! Thank you so much for stopping by Seasons in Stilettos. I’ve created this blog as a way to express myself creatively and to be able to share my personal style, travels, my passions and everything in between.
I grew up in the Midwest since the age of 5 after moving here from Belgrade, Serbia. I am the wife to my loving and supportive husband, John, with whom I’ve shared over a decade of my life. I am a daughter, a sister, niece and a friend.
My favorite meal of the day is brunch while my favorite food is pizza. My cocktail of choice is a flavorful martini, but a glass of wine is favored at dinner.
I’m overly indecisive about everything and prefer someone else to take charge while at the same time don’t like to be told what to do. My friends and family have accepted me as a direct, honest and blunt person who doesn’t like to sugarcoat things, but rather tells it how it is which can sometimes come off harsh, unintentionally of course. My family and friends mean the world to me and I find myself always giving people I meet the benefit of the doubt with my more the merrier attitude. I’m highly intuitive and empathetic towards others and I believe in second chances.
I enjoy traveling and have been able to take a couple trips a year and I look forward to continuing to expand my horizons while seeing what more the world has to offer.
I admire transitional decor with a touch of glam and I favor timeless and classic styles over fashion trends. I will splurge on a good purchase from time to time, but I pride myself on being a budget savvy shopper. After all, achieving an elegant and beautiful look is quite simple.
I hope you find my blog as a place to relate, feel inspired, shop some of my looks, get to know me and connect. Cheers!
